Ninth of December, Twenty Ten.
Warning: The following post is probably going to be extremely gross and mushy. People who hates feeling like they are melting into a puddle of mass on the floor or hates seeing others happy should stop reading right… NOW.
Okay, I’m going to post this so i remember this day forever. (: I’m still feeling all mashed up and gooey inside so pardon the bimbotic language.
The boy just had guard duty yesterday and I thought after I touched down at one I could visit him at his place cos he would be having guard rest. BUT, he told me he had a lesson at 3 and had to stay back at keat hong ( which is freaking at cck ) for some admin stuff till 730. ): ): ): Imagine my disappointment and sulky face. ):
I knew he had the car, so I was waiting to hitch a ride from him to his place. The meeting point was supposedly at botanics, but the annoying boy texted at 710 saying he cannot make it in time and asked me to cab over. Another round of ): ): ): ): .
Anyway when I reached his place, all the cars were alr in the house, and i was thinking !?!?!?! THAT IDIOT DIDNT WANT TO FETCH ME!!!! Either ways, he came out in his boho outfit and brought me upstairs to his room. The entire room was pitch black except for four candles on his study table which surrounded a remote that controlled his curtains. ( Yes that boy has automatic curtains ). So anyway i stood there thinking what in the world can this boy be possibly up to when he asked me to open the curtains. Guess what was behind the curtains!
It was….
A candle light dinner! Normally the balcony is empty so its amazing how the boy brought up a table, two chairs and many many candles! PLUS his room is on the third floor! So yes, i thought i was dreaming, or maybe i died in a car/plane crash and i was in heaven. Either ways, my jaw pretty much fell to the ground.
Than the boy was super cute! He switched on some romantic music ( ie oldies ) and led me to the balcony, pulled out my chair for me and asked me to sit (: Before i could recover from that shock, he left the room and came back with minestrone soup and bread.
Apparently, after guard duty, he didn’t even sleep! He went home to set up the table and everything AND he cooked an entire meal for the both of us!
The meal consisted of minestrone soup and bread:
and a main course of wagyu beef steak, egg, rice and steamed vegetables! YUM!
The view and table setting!
And whats a candlelight meal without good wine! Its really quite nice, i usually hate shiraz but this is actually palatable.
I didn’t bring a camera PLUS i was trying to enjoy and soak up the night so i didnt take much photos.
During dinner the boy left the table (yet again) and he came back, knelt on the floor ( :OOOOO ) and gave me a bracelet! He kept saying he was sorry cos he couldn’t afford the Tiffany charm bracelet. That silly boy, I’d be happy with whatever he gave me! Especially after seeing all the effort he put into his gifts! (:
The silly boy was extremely cute throughout dinner. He kept relighting the candles to make sure the atmosphere was perfect. He prepared two CDs for us to listen to whilst dining. He didn’t know how much wine to pour and poured me an ENTIRE glass of wine! (:
At the end of dinner he raised his ( water) glass and asked ‘Together, forever?’ (: (:
And than he invited me to a dance! (: It wasn’t exactly dancing, more like swaying to the music but it was the perfect end to the perfect dinner planned by the perfect boy. (:
For a block of wood, he really can be crazy romantic and blow me off my feet. (: Im literally brimming with happiness as i type this!
Love that silly boy!!! (:
Okay I better go upload the photos on facebook. His army friend aka cooking teacher who taught him how to cook the steak wants to see if the dinner was a success. Plus he says ” you better upload so the other boys will know they can never beat me and I’m the best for you.” haha cute!!! Hopefully I don’t look/sound so obnoxious on facebook and no one will hate me! But seriously, no one and nothing can dampen my mood now! (;
